The Independent Digital Film Festival (formerly known as the Weekend Digital Film Festival), has undergone quite a few changes since last year, not only do we have a new name but we have an exciting new structure to the festival. As always we are still dedicated to getting Independent films out to the public with one of the lowest festival entry fees around. If we could do it for free we would.

One of the biggest changes we have undergone is regaurding our festival time frame, we are now an ongoing festival with no deadlines. We will showcase our top picks for each and every month. Every month will also have a new winner which brings me to another big change regaurding out catagory structure, since we already have NO limitations to length and genre we have decided to combine categories into two sections, we will now have two winning categories: Best Feature Film and Best Short Film.

We will also be awarding cash prizes and other product prizes to our winners (amounts and actual prizes are TBA).

As always we will NOT be accepting any movies shot on film, this is a digital arts medium festival only.

We recieved over 1,000 entries last year and awarded 15 winning films. We belive with our new structure and awards programe our new and inproved festival will be even more succesfull!
